Abby's 19th birthday @ Superstar K

Had some time to spare before meeting the girls and I was starving so I went to Cake Spade to have a slice of Strawberry tofu cheesecake, been dying to try and it was simply tantalizing! The tofu was soft and light while the strawberries and jelly complemented the entire cake super well. I have an undying love for cakes and just like Lady M, i'll be back for more (also because we have been hanging out at Tanjong pagar way too much lately). 

Abby wanted to have Korean BBQ for dinner so OF COURSE I HAD TO RECOMMEND HER SUPERSTAR K!!! Bernard, my family and I have been there more than 20 times and just in the past two weeks alone, we had dinner/supper there at least 7 times? 

note: Superstar K has two outlets, one at 75 Tanjong Pagar road and another right opposite (with a different name - Super Chicken) 98 Tanjong Pagar road. The menu is slightly different but both super good. We usually visit Super Chicken instead as it has a shorter waiting time, better ambience and it's less smelly as they don't use charcoal. It is also better to go in groups as it's more worth it and you can try more things!

For BBQ we ordered beef ribs x2 [cause it's so good], pork belly and soy sauce chicken. For alacarte we ordered the kimchi stew x2 and seafood pancake. It is served along with complimentary appetisers (banchan) - kimchi, potato, steam egg and some other vegetables I don't really care about but my love affair every time I visit this place - the fish cake. It's free so it's a bit shameless to ask for more but we're thick skin enough to keep asking until the staff is annoyed but thank God but Dad was nice enough to tip her a generous amount so every time we're there we get an extra portion HAHAHA! 

 The most down to earth and loveliest friend I have, happy b'day Abigal.. always admired your pure heart and loving soul. May everyday be filled with the warmth of sunshine, the happiness of smiles, the sounds of laughter, the feeling of love and the sharing of good cheer. Thank you for being so genuine in all that you do, you're awesome x 

So glad we finally manage to catch up after forever! Miss these girls tons and time sure flies so quickly. We met three years ago in City College and since then, we've never missed celebrating anyone's birthday. Love you all x
