6th Anniversary

Extremely late post but we had dinner at Osia Steak & Seafood Grill to celebrate our 6th year anniversary (29/11/16)!!

Been reading about Osia for a while and since we were craving for a good steak and lobster, this place was perfect.

We ordered the freshly baked flat bread in 2 flavours - truffled kalamata olive and onion sour cream, as well as our favourite foie gras for our starters. Both were amazing! I love the spiced garbanzo in a tube that compliments the bread.

Steak and lobster for our mains! This two dishes were had us craving for more, super satisfying. I knew it wouldn't go wrong cause after all, they are a Steak and Seafood Grill.

We had the Valrhona Hot Chocolate Soup and a complimentary cake for dessert. Amazing service and great food, all in all such a lovely experience.

Flowers from @Bellezaflores!

FYI, Bernard hardcore surprised me with this bouquet. I was in the car with him the whole time while the bouquet was in the boot. He alighted me first to get seats and randomly walked in after with this huge bunch of beautiful flowers while everyone started staring. I swear they thought he was going to propose.

Thank you so much Bernard for everything over the past 6 years. Words alone can't describe how amazing this long journey has been. Everything that we've been through, good or bad, has been such a blessing! Thank you for always having my back, for getting me through setbacks I may face, for being the best support system, for always motivating me to do my best, for remaining my constant and for allowing me to be the happiest I can ever be in life. I will always appreciate and love you x

Hong Kong 2016 Day 2 (Part II)

Milk tea pit stop, one of my favourite brands in Hong Kong! And every time we stop by, Carissa will buy her chinese tea leaf eggs and it's crazy because the amount of eggs she eats a day IS SO SCARY! I am guessing her entire year's quota for eating eggs is UP.

We went on a tram!! Probably the cheapest and nicest form of transport in Hong Kong. The weather was so cooling and it made it so enjoyable x

More eating at this famous fishball place Aric recommended. Perfection is fried fish skin dipped in the soup, oh gosh.

Anddddd, more eating... I mean, that's what Hong Kong is known for right? EAT eat EaT eAt!

Ichiran Ramen for dinner!! The queue was relatively fast because the outlet at Causeway Bay expanded and best of all, we had the whole "room" to ourselves :> Which just meant that we had to take a lot of pictures haha!

(lol to Aric and I at the pic above, sums up our friendship)

Ichiran is so good and will always be my go-to when in Hong Kong. Best of all, it's available 24/7!

Next, "Dessert"! We asked around and found out that there was BAKE cheese tart at SOGO nearby. There was barely any queue at all?!

No doubt it was so good. The most excited of us all was Bernard of course! He got so damm excited he smashed the cheese tart all over my mouth and hands. The aftermath included cheesy hands + an unhappy face + smudged lipstick (that I just put on):

UGH?! NOT A GOOD FIRST BAKE TART EXPERIENCE?

Ended the night with a good party time at Lan Kwai Fong! Visited a bar called Chocolate which had really good chocolate infused cocktails. Half way through we got hungry so we went to Mac Donalds for supper (I swear our stomachs are a bottomless pit!) and went to a club called Levels after. The music was SO GOOD because it happen to be DJ Deorro spinning and for some odd reason because we went in early, we got free entry (you can get your chop first, put your baggage then go out and drink again). It was a great night though the crowd was so massive and the people there, naturally, were so rude.. Just take note though, their ladies night is on Thursday : )

Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters

Not my first time blogging about Pacamara, neither will it be my last. This cafe in my opinion is the only cafe worth splurging on! Food here is top notch and ambience is relatively ok on a weekday (too crazy crowded on the weekends). I was a little sad when they changed their menu cause it'd mean no more truffle mac and savoury french toast :(

Their new menu is surprisingly so good too! We ordered the Ocean Mac and Cheese - there were chunks of crab meat, prawns and salmon in it. Not to mention that it was baked to perfection! My favourite is the Crab Benedict. Poached eggs on crumbled crab meat served on toast.. can fight with Roast cafe in Bangkok : )

Visited Pacamara right after my Business Law paper and once more a few days ago to celebrate the passing of Bernard's license!!

I HAVE A CHAUFFEUR NOW GAIS YASSSSSS!!
