Day 19 & 20 of 21 - Paris

I barely have any photos for the 3rd day in Paris because we went outlet shopping! We went to La Valleé Village, it was pretty easy to get to (a straight RER line from our Airbnb station - Nation)! It had a number of high end brands like Givenchy, Burberry, Coach etc but no Prada :-( I didn't buy anything but guess who's the biggest spend? Mr Bernado of course! He bought a ton of Ralph Lauren and this is me half the time when we're overseas:

Literally when there's a *minimum 5 pcs* rule, sobs...

Tourist privileges got us free rose gelato, macarons and tea from the super famous Amorino #YEAHLATO ~~ We even made new Singaporean friends while shopping at Tod's and they very kindly gave us their 15% coupon when we didn't even know about such tourist discounts! Bumped into them again at Amorino and we sat down tgt and literally talk and made friends, they even offered to bring us to this Chinese restaurant for dinner!!

But it would've probably been awkward so we ate ourselves at a super famous burger place nearby.

Our last day in Paris was a major day for me because I was going to get my bag!! We set off to Galeries Lafayette with all our luggages and had the smartest idea of dropping it off at a hotel nearby lol!

A random building we walked past.. so gorg.

I didn't manage to take a photo of the mall but look just how crazy it is!??! I finally decided on buying a Celiné nano which was way over my budget but I guess it's worth it.

LITERALLY. THE. HAPPIEST. MOMENT. OF. MY. LIFE.

Tea and Hot Chocolate at Angelina's! Their Hot Choc is insane, so damm rich and goes so well with the whip cream. But it's also the evil thing that made Bernard have such bad stomach pains at the London customs HAHAHA I was trying so hard to control my laughter because it's the second time on the trip that it's happened - the # I CAN SHIT IN MY PANTS RIGHT NOW moment HAHA!

Headed off to dinner in the beautiful sunset, half the time rushing like mad cause we didn't keep track of time.

A random cosy diner recommended by the hotel. I had to have carpaccio with cheese in Paris! Bernard ordered their mac & cheese, not a shabby meal to end of Paris! Just a huge pity that we had to rush like mad but the manager was nice enough to quickly serve us our food knowing that we're catching the train back to London :-(

One final day spent in London before heading back to Singapore the day after - more in the final post! X

Day 18 of 21 - Paris

Pardon the exam hiatus, i'm so ready to start blogging again in full force since it's the holidays all the way till July hehe :3 Here's the last few parts of my three weeks trip to the UK & Europe!

Day 18 of the trip is one of my favourite, we explored the most beautiful of Paris!

#WARNING: it's a visual mass vomit!

Especially of the world's greatest beauty:

We took a train to Place du Trocadero to get the best view of the Eiffel Tower! I think this is a hidden secret because everyone would think that you have to alight at the Eiffel Tower station but this place literally overlooks the entire tower. From there, we took a nice stroll towards it.

sorry not sorry for the Eiffel spam kkkkzzz

Asking strangers to take pictures for you and they cut off 1/4 of the tower.. ugh. That's why go get your pics from Trocadero!

Off to lunch cause all we had for breakfast was speculoos crepes at the market downstairs our apartment!

Café Constant for lunch! I never knew this was a Michelin 1 star restaurant but it was on my to-go list. It wasn't too far from the Eiffel Tower so it was truly Parisienne ~ causal sophisticated ambience and fabulous food!

Took a bus to Champs-Élysées where the Arc de Triomphe is located. Window shopped the entire evening and this place is a serious shopaholic heaven. It was as though every brand is found on that street and that includes car show rooms haha!

Caught the most amazing sunset along Pont Alexandre III that is connected from the Champs-Élysées  quarter. It's the most ornate (deck arch) bridge I've ever seen, it has so much character with the most beautiful details and architect overlooking the Seine.

And then we got too hungry so off we went to have dinner at this random place I found on Trip Advisor!

Probably one of my favourite meal in Paris. The starter was perfection - Buratta in tomato soup, sounds so weird but it's the best! It's a pity I can't remember the name of the place :-(

And that was all for our second day in Paris x

Happy Chinese New Year guys!
