Damon's birthday

(overdue birthday entry)

Over one of the weekends, the whole group (almost full attendance) came out to celebrate Damon's birthday! He suggested German food so the only thing that came to my mind was Brotzeit.. My impression of German food is sausages, pork knucles and beer. mm, exactly what we had:

 The platter was huge and so delicious! THE MASHED POTATO WAS BUTTERY AND SMOOTH! Their signature pork knuckle was tender and crispy but slightly oily.. other side dishes such as the fish and onion soup were superb too ^_^

but of course before our meals we always say our grace and some of them take sanctifying their food upon the Lord SO SERIOUSLY... hahaha ...

Oh and CAN ANYBODY FEEL MY JOY THAT MY LAST WRITTEN PAPER JUST ENDED TODAY?? ANYBODY?? I am honestly so relieved because I worked my ass off for my Literature paper and ended up writing close to twenty pages. I swear I thought my hand was going to break and my fingernails were going to come off... I was also a rather lonely soul being the only private candidate/student taking Literature, I was the only student in the hall HAH. Ok need to crash, HAPPY NOVEMBER ALL (fav month of the year) X
