Bernard and I were deciding on a place to dine at after I ended tuition and we realized that The Bravery was within walking distance from where we were so we decided to give this new cavernous cafe a try!
This cafe literally had no sign board or a proper door, just a golden door which you push to enter:
The ambience was lovely, it was quiet and the entire place looks like a rustic converted warehouse - Plywood tables with crates as stools, it looks bare and hardly furnished but definitely unique!
They have photogenic Kinsfolk magazines on display for all to read / coffee art is so pretty
Pancakes Stack: fluffy pancakes with banana, ricotta cheese, honey and crushed pistachio. Everything went so well together and I loved how the pancakes weren't dry.
Brave Bagedil: poached egg on bergedil corned beef hash with avocado and turkey bacon. (I love corn beef), the entire dish sounded very interesting on paper however didn't quite pan out... I didn't really like the overall taste.
This cafe is simple and unpretentious. People who live nearby or who are familiar with Chye Seng Huat Hardware and Windowsill Pies can drop by for coffee and light lunch fixes.

I have no idea what took me so long to post this but on the other hand, I survived what seemed like the most tiring week of the year and you have no idea how happy I am that this week is over. Conquered my most detested subjects this week and I'm left with two main papers next week before I can start breathing properly. Thank God for a lovely soul that is my constant strength throughout this season x
