Day 3 of 21 - London

omg, my iPhoto decided to crash in London and I couldn't blog or transfer photos for the past three weeks. I'm so sorry for the unintentional hiatus :-( nonetheless, so so so sad yet happy to be back.

The view from our bus ride! I love taking buses in London and basically everywhere because you get to see way more things.

Started day 3 at Leicester Sqaure to buy musical tickets :> If you know me, you'd know i'm a crazy musical fan but it's way to expensive to watch musicals in Singapore. I've caught Wicked before so I settled for Charlie and the Chocolate factory!!

walked around Leicester and explored the crazy huge M&M store! We were walking to Trafalgar square and while doing so, it started to pour.. major sobs cause we only made it to the National Gallery. Basically it rained all day and our shoes were soaking wet (yep, of all days I didn't wear my boots). So we decided to make a u-turn back to Soho area for Burger & Lobster!

Even if you've never been to London, you've probably heard of B&L. They only have three mains on their menu (they don't even have a menu..) - whole lobster, lobster roll or burger. All priced at twenty pounds.

Twenty pounds is actually considered average for food in London but if you convert it back to SGD it's a whopping $44. For the whole lobster I would say it's worth it but to pay $44 for a lobster roll?? hmm ONLY IN LONDON!! The meal was great nonetheless, one of our favourite meals of the entire trip.

And then we went to Covent Garden to explore since the musical theatre was right there. I was planning for us to spend about two hours there but it was way more than enough time! The market itself is delightful. Loved the modern art balloon invasion, the open air feeling, street entertainment and the peopling watching.

The best part of Covent Garden is probably the fact that they had Shake Shack hahaha!

"can I eat already?! Stop taking pictures!"

I DO WHAT I WANT YA???

The burger was pretty damm good though Bernard said the bacon one he ordered was rlly bad hahaha.

Anyway, the musical was so great and even though day 3 was probably one of the most boring day of the trip, I had a ton of fun nonetheless!! : )
