Hello there, sorry for the lack of updates. I was crazy busy preparing for my trip!! Well, if you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, you'd know that i'm already in London!! It's my third day today, time check 1:07 am right now (8:07 am Singapore time, so weird but i'm handling jet lag pretty well).
Here's a summary of day 1 and 2!
Day 1
Day 1 was literally spent on the plane - 18 hours to be exact. Qatar exceeded all my expectations in all honesty, our flight from Singapore to London was super empty. We had one row each to sleep, too good to be true. Doha to London on the other hand was really full, slept well nonetheless. Had a private driver pick us from the airport to Jess's place!
Day 2
Jess brought us to this really cute and quirky cafe for breakfast! They had the best french toast stuffed with cheese and topped off with bacon, yumsss. Portions were crazy huge too.
Monmouth coffee ~~
Visited so many places in a day - Chinatown, Soho, Leicester square, Carnaby street and Oxford circus.
London's building exterior is amazeballs. Love it, everywhere is photogenic!
so as mentioned, we explored Oxford Street while I did my best to suppress the inner shopaholic in me (the Topshop at Oxford is crazy... 4 floors!!) but look who outdid me on day 2. MY CRAZY BOYFRIEND BOUGHT $250++ WORTH OF STUFF FROM PRIMARK, both paper bags belong to him. Salute.
Flat Iron for dinner!! Yes, our breakfast lasted us all the way to 7 pm and I was actually starving but the wait was 1 hour 25 mins. I can't believe we waited (with more shopping of course) and thankfully we got our seats in slightly less than an hour. Worth the wait though, 10 pounds flat per steak that comes with salad.
Went to random bar to catch the Champions League action :> Did I mention, alcohol was crazy cheap (especially in Europe!).
