First heard of Sunday Market from a supplier months back when they just opened, was so excited the girls chose this cosy and quiet cafe located in the corner of Lim Tua Tow road to celebrate Claudia's birthday. It's decor and ambience were extremely lovely, all the quirky furnitures and brick walls along with vines (tons of them) creeping all over the wall.. I thought I was dining in a garden or smth...
The truffle fries and wings were a good kick start, simple and comfort food always hits the spot. I ordered the conventional french toast with BBQ chicken. It was a safe choice but I got bored of it after a while so Esmeralda and I decided to exchange our main courses cause hers looks really good heh.. she ordered the Sirlon Rendang toast and it tasted so yumz! It cleverly matched our local rending paste and the beef was so tender, loved it.
~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAUDIA ~
we were making her guess what we bought her and she kept insisting it was the usual (Tiffany & co.) and then we pulled out this paper bag and I swear she was like "ahhh"...
She was thinking of getting a Pandora along with this same charm that we got her! *crazy high fives in the air because we guessed it right*
(camera decided to screw up while taking our group photo, urgh) always nice to catch up with friends you haven't seen in ages :> wish Eugene, Terence and Clairah could be present!
OH and I FORGOT TO PUT PARKING COUPON!!! Waited 20 mins for a lot and it totally slipped my mind. Apparently, parking attendants are super aggressive around the area and thankfully I didn't get caught. The other time at Holland we went to get ice cream and when we were walking back to the car, I saw a parking attendant just metres away and I suddenly remembered so I LITERALLY RAN TO THE CAR LIKE A MAD WOMAN?!?!! oh my goodness, no joke
