Assembly Coffee

I have no idea what took us so long to visit Assembly Coffee when we're always around the area. We've heard so much raves about this new cafe in town that serves brunch and coffee. We arrived at about 3 pm in the afternoon and the place was packed!! Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long for a seat :-)

We ordered their mocha that was served at the right temperature. The blend was aromatic, smooth and just the way I liked it. And also, just look at how much effort is put into the coffee art?! For a while I couldn't bear to drink it... too pretty.

The pulled pork sandwich tasted really interesting (in a good way)! They added thinly sliced green apples on top of the pork that gave it a tangy yet sweet taste. I'm not a fan of vegetables but a huge fan of green apples so you can feel my joy !_!

The best part of the meal was probably the salted caramel buttermilk waffles we ordered... IT IS REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD and I think it's one of the best waffles I've ever eaten in my life, not kidding. It had a crispy crust and it was soft on the inside. Best of all the salted caramel and vanilla ice cream wasn't too overpowering, everything was well balanced in flavour.

Assembly coffee is definitely an up and coming cafe spot, a definitely must-visit if you love a good cup of coffee and some tasty waffles to go along.

Love my crop collared blouse with overlap panels from www.missystella.com!! One more day to the weekend, press on everybody x
