Bangkok 2015 Day 6 & 7

Breakfast at On Lok Yun! When spending 7 days in Bangkok, one has plenty amount of time to travel 45 mins for good food. Ambience here is as old school as it gets, service is commendable and food is full of local flavour! I think we practically ordered everything off the menu and had several rounds that kept us full till 4 pm. I CRAZY LOVE THE EGG FRENCH TOAST, best I've ever had!

Best part of the meal? It cost us 4 SGD per person whoooopiezzz ~

Headed back to Platinum for more shopping before heading to Asiatique in the night!

The one and only time we took the BTS was to Sapan Taksin station to hitch on the free ferry to Asiatique!

Dinner at Checkmate! A pretty chill bar and bistro, their Thai food was really yummy as well.

Our last dinner/night in Bangkok, we figured that we should end the trip with a nice meal :-)

took pictures with the iconic ferries wheel and went for some lame 4D show that cost us $4 #cheapthrills!!

Day 7 only consist of four (food) pix lolol cause we chiong shopping like mad and spent every single cent we brought (in fact, we had to change money just to eat lunch). Lahm Cha-Reon Seafood is one of my favourite restaurants in Bangkok but my friend who recently went said her entire family got food poisoning from eating there BUT MY CRAZY FRIENDS STILL INSISTED ON HAVING LUNCH THERE UGH SIAO. I arrived in Singapore with a fever while everyone else was okay zzz ~

Can't ask for a better group of people to be on this crazy, kick-ass trip. Everyday was filled with excitement and a ton of laughter (I laughed so hard on certain days till I cried). Despite the fact that we almost missed our return flight no thanks to our stupid Grab Taxi driver that took 1.5 hours to make a U-turn (BKK traffic is a nightmare) and decides to play with her phone while driving on the highway which got us into a three car collision accident.. Like I don't even usually sit in the front seat but I was so tired that day and decided to play scissors paper stone to win the front seat so I could sleep AND I WON AND OMG I WITNESSED THE WHOLE ACCIDENT LORD JESUS THAT AIN'T COOL. Traumatised is an understatement but there we were literally abandoned on the highway with 6 luggages. Thank goodness this other taxi, even though way smaller, decided to take us and he rushed like mad to the airport. A small taxi also means there were two luggages stacked on top of me and all I wanted to do was cry LOL. WE RAN TO THE GATES 40 MINS BEFORE DEPARTURE and surprisingly, made it. Memories for life... can't wait for Hong Kong with them next week!
