Day 14 of 21 - Manchester

This photo shows a small side of Bernard's OCD-ness, where everything needs to be hanged and packed nicely before we sleep and before we leave the house. Thank God for such a good packer, i'm such a mess and I wonder how he stands me sometimes??

Met Joan for brunch at a nice quaint cafe called Teacup Kitchen at the popular Northen Quarter area. Tea was terrifically served, the salmon eggs benedict was really on point (according to Bernard) and everything else wasn't too shabby. Their cakes looked too appealing not to order so we went ahead with the rainbow cake:

and sadly, it was disappointing. Tasteless T_T

It was a short but good catch up with one of my best pals since forever!! Thank you Jo for bringing me around x

Off we went to catch our game against Sunderland!!!!!!!! Weeeeeeeet ~

Couldn't be happier, definitely the highlight and the whole point of coming to Manchester. All our dreams came true, from watching the games on TV or at bars/coffeeshops, to watching it live before our very eyes.. I can't describe the feeling. Best of all, we won the game with 3-0 and Mata was man of the match and I got his name printed on my shirt!!

so we met a really drunk man while resting outside the stadium. He went on tell us that he's a Sunderland supporter and kept asking me to take pictures of him and Bernard?? I was like ugh okay and then before we left he kissed me on my head and hand EEEEEEEKKKKKSSSSSS *dies*

bye Old Trafford, till the next time x

Met Josh, Sarah and Joan for dinner! We were planning to have Almost Famous burger but the wait was two hours long so we had to put ourselves on waiting list #cray. We were on Google Maps and we found out that Chinatown was nearby and all our Asian cravings were so real we decided to go Pearl City for dinner HAHAHA

It was insanely expensive but so good?? Everyone got to pick out a dish of their choice and Joan literally shouted "TIE BAN TOU FU!". Really pity them studying overseas because you seriously can't live without Asian/Chinese food.

ALMOST FAMOUS BURGER ~ atmosphere was cute, food was amaze balls and drinks were satisfying but company was wayyyyy better. I laughed till I cried and I haven't done that in the longest time.

Thank you Sarah and Josh for coming down to Manchester to meet us, appreciate it so much! One of my favourite nights of the entire trip, spent with great friends!
