Ice cream craze

I've been eating a ton of ice cream (and desserts) lately.. here's a few of the places i've been visiting:

Tom's Palette

First and my absolute favourite on the list - Tom's palette are known for their weird exotic flavours like salted egg yolk, apple pie, chocolate stout and wasabi lime... we all went for safe choices! My most-liked flavour is lemon pistachio and salted caramel cheesecake :>

DOME

lava cake and brownie along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to end a good dinner with the family : ) Dome also serves the best earl grey and lychee tea!!!

Follia

Dinner at chef Francis new restaurant located at Clover way to celebrate my mum's birthday. Dessert was lemon tart with vanilla ice cream.. the tart's crust was thin but not soggy, very nice although the ice cream was very obviously a low grade milk base + too much artificial flavouring.

Stateland Cafe

I've been wanting to pay Stateland Cafe a visit since forever after hearing about their popular red velvet waffles so since we were around the corner and had nothing to do, we popped by!! Their waffles were crispy on the inside and outside but way too sweet for my liking. The strawberry lemonade was amazing though!

Flying off to Bangkok next week and I cannot be more excited!! This week has been the most dramatic week of the year, Bernard almost couldn't make it for our trip to BKK and was suppose to leave for 3 weeks but what a turn of events... here's to the best month yet, bring it on September!!
