BACKKKK FROM BANGKOKKKKK! One of the best getaways yet : )
I had a camera crisis in Bangkok.. my Canon was spoilt and I forgot to bring the charger for my Lumix. Thank God my Canon magically started working agn on day 2!! Therefore for this post, all pix are taken with my iPhone 5s.
Our wake-up-at-4:30 am-to-catch-a-flight (with only 2 hours of sleep) face... 7 am flights are not cool but I wanted to get there early so we can maximise our time.

upon touch down, we went straight to the hotel (Novotel Platinum) and crossed over for my most-liked wanton mee!! This place is insanely popular right now and at 11 am, we had to queue to get seats. Thankfully it wasn't too long of a wait. After that, the shopping began... I went straight to my favourite mall - Platinum! My plan was to avoid the mall on the weekends because it'd be crazy crowded but I didn't end up buying much because I figured I'd look elsewhere first.

Upon hearing that Nara Thai Cuisine is listed as one of Bangkok's best restaurants, we had to try it out. My personal favourite was the pomelo salad.. a mixture of textures and flavours, super tasty. We waited 40 mins for a table but it was worth it.. this place deserves 5 stars *.*

so this pretty much sums up day 1... five days literally flew by like a breeze :'(
Just finished unpacking and washing my clothes. We've been maid-less for almost 3 months now and my grand ma has been doing all our house work so I'm going to feel really guilty if I make her wash one luggage full of clothes :-( Sorry for the lack of updates, I will do my best to blog more now that i'm back! Goodnight for now xx
