explored Everton Park neighbourhood like a little tourist with my best friend last Saturday! Everton Park is a HDB estate that is located across Duxton / Tanjong Pagar area where we usually hang out. There are so many hidden gems around this estate and it's becoming like a new tiong bahru.
We had late lunch at The Provision Shop after checking out at least 9 cafes around that area. This casual eatery is the first place we saw when we reached there. The place was small but rather cosy while giving off a old-school retro vibe.
Bernard ordered their highly recommended Reuben sandwich which consisted of corn beef, sauerkraut, Russian dressing and swiss cheese all in a crunchy toast.. this was hell of a sandwich. I like anything and everything with corn beef so I've got to admit i'm a bit bias HAH. Their eggs benny I had was a steal.. only $10 with a choice of either ham or smoked salmon. Obviously salmon is more worth it but it's a pity I don't eat salmon :/ The poached eggs are soft and warm with a generous helping of the hollandaise sauce.. not just a thing of beauty, it also tasted delicious. We shared the Sea Salt Lemonade which in my opinion is the most unique and best concoction ever!! It was refreshing and a great cooler for this sweltering weather...

Finally wearing my Monki hat after the longest time!!
