PasarBella Market

Meet PasarBella Market, Singapore's largest market located at The Grandstand (formally known as Turf City), right in the heart of Bukit Timah! It is honestly super inconvenient so I usually travel here by taxi!

I absolutely adore this market and have been here three times - the first time with Amber and twice with Bernard!

There were lots of stalls selling fresh flowers, vintage items, fruits, fresh meats and many more. I love the extraordinary outline idea/concept and rustic interior!!

Here are a few MUST TRIES at PasarBella!!:

Le Patio - we couldn't resist the temptation of that massive pan of hearty seafood home-made paella!!

Macarons from Bonheur Patissere - personal taste preference but I prefer these macarons to famous brands like Laudureé or Pierre Hermes! It has the right balance of thickness and great texture. My favourite flavour is Earl Grey and Nutella!

BEST BURGER IN SINGAPORE, OMASAKE BURGER - located at The Grandstand, this is my favourite place to dine at (away from the market)! The standard cheese burger is so good I can cry! Pillowy, toasted artisanal buns. Every bit oozes flavour.. enough said. Buttery and feather-like, they are hands down the best I have ever tried. Order it with the recommended sweet potato fries, super delicious. AND GUESS WHAT?? OMASAKE BURGER IS OPENING AN OUTLET AT WISMA ATRIA THIS MONTH >>> WHICH MEANS I WILL GROW VERY FAT <<<

Slappy cakes - been wanting to try this "DIY pancakes" store originating from the US.. It was quite a hassle but I had tons of fun, on top of that the buttermilk pancake actually tasted really good too! Worth a try though not really worth the money because it's not very filling.

About a month ago, PasarBella hosted a vibrant and convival outdoor lifestyle market at Marina Bay Sands that I found out through mail. Bernard and I decided to check it out!

The food market looks quite nicely set up and the ambience was really chill! However the food queue was crazy long and it was super difficult to get a seat. After a while, we settled down with a nice bottle of lemonade and a pulled pork sandwich while overlooking Singapore's beautiful scenery with live music at the background.

Overall experience with PasarBella Market has been very pleasant, can't wait to start driving so i'll visit this gem more often! P.S. fell asleep in the dining room while typing out this post, peace out.
