Breakfast at Kam Wah cafe with Bernard and Kyle! According to the reviews we read, this place supposedly sells the best pineapple buns in Hong Kong! We arrived at 10 am and the place was packed but we still managed to get a table for three!
Thank God there was a english menu (and a nice waitress who assisted us with our order) if not we're doomed… We tried their yuan yang WHICH SUCKED! I have no idea why we ordered three cups. Their "bo lo yau" was undoubtedly good… the crunchy crust and butter was rlly yummy! The egg tarts are supposed to be famous but I think it's average? Barely had any appetite that morning cause the curry fish ball + milk tea the night before caused me the worst indigestion! I woke up at 5 am with a crazy urge to vomit, sigh.

while waiting for Neal & Josh to arrive, we went to Langham Place shopping mall in Mongkok. Took the escalator up and I saw MONKI located right next to H&M and I literally screamed and ran in… It was not even in the afternoon yet and I splurged 650 HKD (in less than 20 mins) on one store #noregrets all my best buys were from Monki!
cute doggie :>
met the guys to shop! left Mongkok for Causeway Bay and had lunch at Ichiran!! Apparently this place is 24 hours.. we arrived at 3 pm and there was a freaking 30 mins queue?!? It just shows how good this place is I guess.
What I love about this place is the ordering system! There is only 1 ramen flavour but you get to customise your ramen and I hate green onions so I didn't have to worry about the language barrier about telling them I don't want it HAHA
We were assigned to individual booths which has a wooden partition and a simple stool to sit at… not ideal for groups but the ramen was SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD! The picture doesn't do ANY justice cause it's so plain looking. The pork was lightly sweet and the ramen noodles were full of flavour and texture. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WISH I HAD ADDED EXTRA NOODLES but I was rather full!
we carried on shopping for the next 7 hours… non-stop #crazy! We covered the whole of Causeway Bay and even walked to the I.T. mall check out STYLE NANDA and 3 concept eyes!
We were also crazy enough to walk from Causeway Bay to Wan Chai which is only one stop away but it took us more than an hour.. Dinner at Wing Wah Noodle Shop! It was such an experience because this eatery served up quality food… wan ton mee is a must-eat in Hong Kong so i'm glad Josh brought us to this place that is so authentic and famous amongst the locals! I ordered the char siew wanton mee which was yummy! The noodles has the "QQ texture" and broth was light and nice. Surprisingly their mango dessert beats Hui Lau Shan cause it was sweet!
