OFF TO DIM SUM HEAVEN! We took the 1 pm flight because the 7 am flight was full so we kind of wasted half a day : (
the legendary bridge.. upon arrival, it was drizzling and ultra foggy!
met my family for dinner at the famous Yung Kee Restaurant - a chinese cantonese restaurant renowned for it's roasted goose and century eggs! Surprisingly, we didn't have to wait for long and were assigned a table almost immediately upon arrival.
MUST ORDER at Yung Kee:
Award winning roasted goose - Crispy on the outside yet soft, tender and juicy on the inside. ok actually description is pointless for this dish, you got to try it for yourself hehe
Roast pigeon - one of their main delicacies. I'd nvr look at pigeons the same ever agn.
Suckling pig - the skin was super crunchy and juicy… definitely not for the health conscious though cause it's full of fats
Char siew - LITERALLY MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH… THE BEST CHAR SIEW I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.
YUNG KEE
32-40 Wellington Street, Central, Central, Hong Kong, China (Central)
Lan Kwai Fong!!!! We checked out Hong kong's most popular nightlife hot spot and chilled at Hard Rock for a while.
checked out Ladies Market before sourcing high and low for the ultra legendary CURRY FISHBALL and SOTONG! BUT I chose the extra spicy one without knowing and I literally went insane after taking a bite. IT WAS CRAZILY SPICY I COULD CRY!!
I ran to buy Gong cha next door…
Dessert before going back to the hotel - Hui lau shan! The most popular and famous mango dessert restaurant. We ordered the classic mango sago and the mango platter.. the mango was very sour though!
on the cab back to the hotel…
Outfit for Day 1
