The Sushi Bar

The Sushi Bar is the best kept secret of Far East Plaza and I've been going so cray over it lately. I dine there almost once a week and i'm not even exaggerating about how good it is.

Things to try:

1) Scallop Mentaiyaki

Thinly sliced scallop drizzled in disconcertingly delicious mentaiyaki mayonnaise, literally heaven in your mouth.

2) classic salmon maki

The salmon is really fresh you literally taste the sea, exactly what I love about this hidden gem… It serves up quality Japanese food!

3) Star dish of The Sushi Bar: Soft shell crab aburi sushi

It's competitor is the famous Shiok maki at Koh Grill and Sushi Bar but I think it is way better! The feeling of absolute shiokness when you pop one into your mouth because the ratio is perfected. Basically we can NEVER have enough of this aburi sushi because it's flawless…

4) Shishamo

I'm a huge Shishamo fan! And I love Sushi Bar's version cause it's nicely fried and the size of the fish is big and nice!

5) Wafu spaghetti

This is probably the best innovation done to pasta, nothing beats Mentaiyaki pasta! Although the one at Five & Dime tasted much better, this is a good starter! The creamy sauce is so yummy!

We love The Sushi Bar, period. Every dish is prepared to such high quality that we crave for more with every bite, till our stomach surrender. It is an unpretentious place for some really authentic Japanese food.
