One thousand days

my fav boy was weird enough to count how many days we've been tgt (he's really good in math by the way) and a week ago he realize that on the 25th of August marks ONE THOUSAND DAYS TOGETHER. At first I thought it wouldn't be much of a big deal because we haven't been spending much time together but I'm glad we forked out time for a pleasant meal : )

We settled for dinner at Au Chocolat. It is a French inspired patisserie and bistro, located in the Opulent Shoppes @ Marina Bay Sands. It is located above the skating rink and it's like chocolate heaven... 

We ordered the Truffle fries for our starter and I have to admit, it was so good. The fragrance of the truffles is impeccable and it's wrapped in made-believe newspaper. SUPER CUTE! Our first main was the Au Chocolate Eggs Benedict which has it's eggs almost perfectly poached, coming with hollandaise sauce infused with red wine and dark chocolate. Our second main is the highly raved about Duck Confit which was ridiculously priced in my opinion ($27) because it wasn't even that great. It was only unique because it was topped off with a tangy chocolate orange sauce. Well, it's the company that matters and Bernard really is the best person to hang out with (in my opinion at least ^_^)

Honestly I can't believe a thousand days just flew by like that and never in a million years did I think I'd find someone who makes me happier than I have ever dreamed I could be. Someone that would touch my life so profoundly and just give me a whole new reason to breathe. But then I found you and realized that everything I anticipated you to be, doesn't even compare to what you are.

I decided to buy Bernard a watch because over the past three years, I bought him two watches and they have both died on him so I decided to invest in something good. I was contemplating between Nixon or Komono or Emporio Armani but I finally settled with this gorgeous piece from Fossil. <Thank you Eugene for picking it out, for once you made me proud hehe> Worth every cent in my opinion because it looks so good on B and more importantly, he loved it :-)

ok major selfie moment because I'm so in love with the gift he bought for me. I really wasn't expecting anything from Bernard because I thought this 1000 day thing was suppose to be smth casual and more of being able to spend time. So we were walking down the escalator and he was just like "so I've been wanting to get you a gift from Tiffany & Co. but I really don't know what you want so shall we go in a take a look?" and I really did doubt his words. Haha not that he's the selfish kind but I really thought we'll just go in and take a look. When we went in, he asked to see the necklace and bracelet which were all really pretty but I'm not a accessories person. I don't wear any accessories expect ear rings so I asked to see the ear rings and I said I liked it and he was like "ok we'll take this pair" and he paid and IT WAS SO IMPROMPTU AND SCARY AND I WAS MORE SHOCKED THAN HAPPY. but i'm still so happy and I haven't felt this happy in such a long time. 

Not that I'm happy because he's spoiling me but lately things have been so hectic and I'm really quite overwhelm with the amount of work I have. It's insane but I'm happy that I have him. He keeps me sane and makes me the happiest. And today was wonderful. Sorry for the wordy post, I hope you feel my joy haha! Have a good week ahead all x
