Holland Village is one of my favourite hang out places in Singapore! Back in the St Margs days, Ambz and I would take bus 165 to the very popular foodie paradise to eat Korean food, go for hair cuts, try out disgusting Barcelos which eventually closed down.. and till today, it's still the place we always meet to study and have our meals at. I think I have almost dined in all the restaurants/cafes in this small busy enclave.
Mu Parlour is a cafe that I've been dying to try and I finally did with my two fav people - Kyle & Bernard ^_^
This cafe is quiet and exclusive with a tinge of vintage style, I absolutely loved the interior and they played songs from the 80's era which gives the cafe a hell of an atmosphere. Mu Parlous serves brunch, burgers and booze.
Bernard and I ordered their burgers served with garlic fries. The patties were moist and juicy, the charcoal bun makes it more fun to eat heh! Kyle ordered their eggs benedict which looks great! I didn't even get to try it cause he's a selfish pig.
THEY HAVE THE PRETTIEST DESSERTS WHICH WERE TOO PRETTY TO RESIST!!!
We ordered the - Sea salt caramel tart which was so good! Lemon meringue which was average. It had a equal balance of sweet and sour taste. I forgot the name of the last tart... but all in all, Mu Parlour is a lovely place to spend a quiet and relaxing evening! Happy August all!
