Finally after a million years, Ambz and I set a date to have brunch at d'Good café. It's one of the few food places we have yet to try in Holland Village and I was slightly hesitant in the beginning when she told me that they serve organic food... but turns out, this new joint serves one of the best cuppas in town and their menu is so not organic lol. Ironically, i'm not a coffee person so I was only looking forward to the food n_n
The cafe is separated into a few areas - the bar and the lawn at level two, the attic and the balcony at level three. We were seated at the attic because it was much quieter, level two was slightly packed and the balcony was too hot!
It was apparently going to be a long wait for the food so we decided to order a cake to start off our meal, haha! We ordered the maple sea salt cheesecake which was superb. We've all heard of salted caramel desserts but rarely do I hear of maple sea salts one {thumbs up!}
For our mains, I ordered the fresh sea prawn aglio olio. I've always avoided ordering aglio olio at restaurants or cafes because you can literally find it on every menu but this one tasted really good. Their prawns are seriously fresh and worth devouring! Amber ordered their Ham & Cheese sandwich which was average I suppose :>
