Paddington House of Pancakes

Monday was a school holiday because it was Youth Day so Bernard and I took the chance to go on a date. Believe it or not, for the entire year, we have yet to catch a single movie together. SEVEN WHOLE MONTHS... (insert crying face) so we decided to watch Despicable Me 2! It's a movie I was really looking forward to because exactly three years ago, Despicable Me was the first movie we caught together :> I was so excited!!

After which we went to study for a while before dinner and tuition. I bugged Bernard the entire day that we have to check out PHOP for dinner because it's really near our tuition place and yay he agreed to have pancakes for dinner!

I am absolutely in love with pancakes. There's just definitely something special about these silky golden circles and I always get called weird whenever I eat pancakes for my main course. There are so many pancake joints popping out in Singapore lately but most aren't up to standard. So when I heard about Paddington House of Pancakes, PHOP in short, I was super excited to see what they had to offer.

Everything looks so delicious on the menu, even the drinks. We were definitely spoilt for choices because the selection is huge! Something unique is that they offer all types of pancakes from around the world and most of the pancakes/burgers are named after different countries!

I finally settled for the dollar pancake dessert. It's definitely worth a go because their portions are so generous. There's cute fluffy dollar pancakes along with fresh fruits topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. yum!

Bernard ordered some blueberry pancake with bacon and egg omelette which tasted relatively good!

Overall, it was a great dining experience! I would definitely go back again to try their other selections of pancakes.
