It's the weekends

Every weekend, Bernard and I make it a point to chill and unwind over a meal or desserts at anywhere of my choice. Here's a few of the places we (re)visited over the past few weeks:

Rider's Cafe

One of my all-time favourite cafes, this time though we tried their Rider's burger and Iced Tea. I really prefer the french toast because i'm not a huge fan of burgers, hur.. their iced berry tea is rlly good!!

Fat Cat Ice Cream Bar

This is new on the blog.. Fat cat ice cream bar! They are a typical ice cream parlour in the neighbourhood of Bedok but i've been dying to try what they have to offer because of their unconventional menu which includes pretty plated desserts, charcoal waffles with salted egg and many other in sweet dishes. Sadly, when I arrived, it was FULL HOUSE on a Sunday night (9:30 pm?!). We managed to get a table only to realise their charcoal waffles were sold out so we just bought two random flavours and gave up our table for others. Sobs, nth fantastic about their Ice Cream though.

Green Bites Salad

This salad is my everything. It's nothing fancy, in fact it's located at a hawker centre - Bukit Merah Central but seriously.. i'm never a fan of anything green but this salad is a game changer. I make it a point to eat this at least once a week! Missing it so much now because BMC is closed for two weeks : (

 Arteastiq Boutique Tea House

The best place to enjoy a quiet afternoon.. Arteastiq serves up the best teatime treats.

Privé

Lovely place to chill with a fantastic view.. All Sundays should be like this!! Strawberry caramel cheesecake with a classic moscato, sweet.

I'd never forget the time I was chatting with Tiffany while doing our nails and she was asking me where I wanted my birthday dinner to be at and I mentioned Privé but I pronounced it as prive (like deprive without the de) and my gay manicurist looked at me and said "It's Privé (Pra-vay)". Since then, I nvr got the pronunciation of this place wrong. Embarrassed max.

Holy Cow Creamery

Holy Cow! You can never go wrong with Ice cream! Situated in Yishun, nestled amidst the quiet, laid back charms of the north region of Singapore... super authentic gelatos. Their Pistacho flavor is one of the best I've ever tried!!

and FYI, for those who say "aren't you on a diet??" - CALORIES DON'T COUNT ON THE WEEKEND jeez.
