Treated my dad and sisters to a meal at Spuds and Apron @ the peak of Mount Faber on Father's Day!! Food was good, especially the carbonara pasta. The view was spectacular! Everything about that day was great. It was also my first meal I ever paid for and my dad says it's something he'd always remember (aww, flattered).
so, happy father's day to the man that loves me the most. I saw this quote online that says "My father didn't teach me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." I cannot emphasise further how relevant this quote is about my upbringing when it comes to my dad. Over the past 20 years, I had to figure out on my own what values will get me through the thick and thin of life. And where do I get those values? Apart from learning from my own experiences and like what my dad says, the "hard" way, I also learn from him. His experiences. I adapted lessons from his life and the best lessons were the ones he didn't teach. Some may know my dad as a great businessman, leader or friend. To me, he's not only that. He is my hero and I love him more than words can say. Thank you dad for being the biggest role model and inspiration.
Happy Father's day to all other father's out there as well x
